Jamaica Broiler
Waldron Engineering was engaged to develop a design concept for a cogeneration plant at a food processing facility. The plant size was 15,300 KW with 50,000 lbs/hr of steam generation.
The prime movers for this project are multiple #6 oil fired Wartsilla reciprocating engines exhausting into a single heat recovery steam generator, a dual fuel package boiler and a hot water absorption chiller.
Waldron Engineering oversaw the letting of the EPC contract and the commissioning of the plant systems as the Ownerís Independent Engineer.
