Gebze & Adapazari Power Project
Two power plant facilities have been constructed by the EPC, Bechtel. The first is in Gebze, Turkey and is a 1,555 MW facility. The second is in Adaparazi, Turkey and is a 780 MW facility. The owner of this project is a joint venture with InterGen and Turkish partner Enka. These power stations and Izmir are the first private power programs to proceed under Turkey's new Build, Own, and Operate (B.O.O.) program. Waldron Engineering is representing the owner's interests for all power performance testing after the plant enters its commercialization process.
