Con Edison/ODEC
Con Edison and Old Dominion Energy Company shared a site consisting of 600MW of peaking gas turbines. The turbines are served by a common cooling system. Due to poor execution during the design of the system a major system modification was required to insure an adequate level of performance for the range of operating conditions.
Waldron’s EPC scope for a fixed price turnkey package including all Engineering, Procurement, and Construction for the system upgrades. The scope of work included a new control scheme consisting of installation of metering and control valves to provide the plant staff with the tools to properly control the system operations.
