Waldron Construction Expands Capabilities
Waldron Engineering has been affiliated with Waldron Construction, LLC since 1998, handling projects and tasks that were not appropriate for the engineering company. Terry Waldron states "company growth and client requests for Waldron Engineering to expand it's capabilities have made the expansion of Waldron Construction a necessity". Recently the construction company has expanded it's capabilities and focus by bringing David Forbes aboard as the Director of Waldron Construction. David has over 30 years of construction experience with the last 20 being primarily in the industrial field. Before coming to Waldron Construction, David served as Construction Manager for 4 years with the Abington Group, an industrial contractor serving the northeast. Prior to Abington, David was with TIC & The Industrial Company for 15 years based in Colorado. At TIC David served in various positions in corporate headquarters and on projects throughout the United States.
Waldron Construction is now able to offer project management services, consulting and EPC contracting for power and energy generation, utility distribution and general industrial projects. “Being able to work closely with our own full service engineering group opens up many client and market opportunities that I'm very excited about”, says David. Waldron plans on growing it's EPC (Engineer, Procure and Construct) and design/build business while expanding the program management, project management, procurement, construction management, commissioning and start-up services.
