Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to work under the supervision and mentoring of registered professional engineers: Provides supervision and quality control for all I & C documentation; Performs calculations and prepares specifications for contract documents; Works with design department to create I & C drawings for engineering projects; Provides on-site customer service and support; Exhibits a broad knowledge of industry and regulatory standards, and design criteria pertinent to I & C engineering (ISA, NEMA, UL and NFPA); Customizes controls drawings per customer specifications; Requirements include a B.S. in mechanical engineering and knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and an ability to learn various engineering software packages.
